LGBT Caucus Members

On January 22, 2011, the LGBT Caucus held its biennial reorganization meeting, and as your newly elected Chair I am proud to introduce to you the leaders of the LGBT Caucus for the next 2 years.

Together we bring over 50 years of activism, and political experience, spirit and drive as we work to assure LGBT issues are at the forefront of the Democratic Party.

In the week since the election I have been contacting members of the caucus from all over the state;  people who I have worked with in the past, along with others who have come with glowing recommendations, and individuals who have stepped forward to volunteer and have put together a strong team to compliment the new officers.  Please let me introduce to you the initial committees of the 2011-2013 LGBT Caucus.

 Membership Committee-

• Kristen Gwinn, Tempe

Our last Committee is the Regional Advisory Committee.  This Committee was designed to give voice to every county across the state.  As I prepared this letter I am still searching for a strong person from 8 of our 15 counties.  I know you’re out there.  If you are interested, or know of someone who fits that bill, please get in touch with me.  Until then, here are the current members, and their respective county:

In the next few weeks each of theses committees will be meeting and picking a chair.  The Chair of each committee will be a member of the Executive Committee of the Caucus.  If you have an interest in serving on one of the committees above, please contact me right away. 

I look forward to working with each and every one of you as we tackle all the challenges that are in store for us in support of the Arizona Demcratic Party.
